Stand of Flamingos
Bonaire’s is one of the few remaining breeding grounds for the Greater Flamingo. Deep in the salinas (salt pan) the flamingos seek quiet and seclusion to build a rocky nest and lay their eggs. The parents will take turns flying to Venezuela to feed during the day.
